Winter Tulip Club

(Horns for the Queen) We present Winter Tulip Club!

This is a royal scoop of gorgeous tulips. 16 stems picked up or delivered weekly to your/their door for Ypsilanti or Ann Arbor (48197, 48198, 48103, 48104).

We are looking at 20 varieties, all are stunners, most are peony type along with fringe, fragrant and parrots. Shoot! We are putting on a show!

Join me in my obsession, I am caught under a tulip spell and it’s awesome! Tulips change each day, growing and opening. They start as green walnuts becoming tropical birds with open mouths with attitude, song and dance.

We are growing these here, fresh, for you. A three step process that needs Goldilocks temperatures, moisture, humidity, light, time, and voila. We can grow tulips in Michigan in Winter! Yes it IS magical!

Cut the cost in half by splitting it with a neighbor or bring some to your workplace. Eight stems each is lovely. We designed this for easy sharing.

An absolutely delightful fresh treat for the home, and extra awesome for your business to share in the magic.

Tulip Club is perfect for artists, poets, people who get the winter blues, people going through some crap, people who have it all, people who don’t like stuff but love nature and of course perfect for all of you who simply adore flowers, we know exactly how you feel;)

Wow! Yes 12 weeks from January through April. Oh yes you can pick Valentine’s Day week, for sure.

For those going with delivery, we have you on Tuesdays. You get to pick dates from January 14th through April 29th. This is 16 weeks. You pick 12 Tuesdays for delivery.

Yes you can change your dates within 24 hours. For $14 you can send your subscription to another address in our delivery area.

If you are giving this as a gift, we can make available a card that describes the subscription. And we are aiming to have our first tulips by Christmas so it may be possible to order an additional bunch and include those in a gift to someone-so fun!

Yes! This starts on Valentines Day. Share with your love not 1 bouquet but 6 bouquets of tulips!

For folks choosing delivery, we will deliver on a day of your choosing on or near Valentine’s Day along with a card to explain the subscription. The following deliveries will be on the Tuesdays of 3/6, 3/20, 4/3, 4/17, and 5/1.

For folks choosing pick up, we will have a pop up at Corner Brew on Valentine’s Day. You will pick up your first bunch then along with a card to explain the subscription. Pick ups will be on Sundays 3/2, 3/16, 3/30, 4/13,  and 4/27 at our home studio at 501 Osband. We will have a cooler on the porch. It will be quick and easy.

We are allowing you to select your days and/or giving you this great wholesale price. In exchange we ask that you offer us grace. We 100% will have 12 or 6 Weeks of Tulips you’ve ordered from January through April. But if an unforeseen problem like an extended power outage (we have a generator specifically for this) or some other issue occurs we ask that you too be flexible. We may need to sub a day, a week or two. And we are not traveling during any slippery road conditions. We will either deliver the day before or after. Same for you, if the weather is poor and you are picking up, come the day before or after. These updates to the schedule will be communicated to you through email.

One more fine detail, we ask that for folks getting delivery, if you are not home to receive them, leave a cooler on the porch. Tulips are tough (another reason I love them!), they will be fine in a cooler for hours.

We will teach you everything about how to care for tulips. There are a few magic tricks, but tulips are super easy and long lasting flowers.

I’d like to invite you to Tulip Club for another reason. Winter grown tulips could be a viable alternative to roses. Most roses are grown in South America with lots of chemicals. Then airlifted to the US, again to Michigan and driven at least three more times to make it to your house. Now I love roses too. We probably have some on hand. But what if there was a local option? What if we pushed the market in a direction that gave us hard working flower farmers some needed winter income? What if you found you actually prefer tulips with all things equal, one grown here, with love?:)
